Noise at night from bars is a huge issue for our neighborhood. Respect the neighbors please.

Our neighborhood is fast becoming very very noisy on the street every night. We need the Hotel to respect this and please not seek a 4am liquor license.

I've been living in this neighborhood for 9+ years. Developers forget that people actually live here - Most times they enter with no knowledge or respect for what already exists here. This isn't a place just for attractions and nightlife - It's a deep rooted community with a very unique demographic and cherished residents. I hope the association will prevent this from happening.

Greedy developers I hope your ugly pathetic family all died from brain cancer and heart attack generations to come. You should donate money to Thailand and help homeless and sick animals instead of thinking about your own selfish greed

I live diagonally from this construction site and our neighborhood is not equipped to handle this amount of noise and foot traffic. There is already significant noise from car traffic, spillover from existing bars, and the busy fire station on Canal. Many late-night/early-morning visitors will make this relatively quiet neighborhood unlivable and will displace many residents. This is not the Meatpacking District with hotels and clubs mixed alongside commercial office buildings. This is a relatively quiet neighborhood already preparing to deal with the influx of hundreds of residents in the heinous skyscrapers in Two Bridges.

We need to stop these changes to our quality of life before they become entrenched. The character of this neighborhood is at stake and those of us who live nearby have watched in horror as the drunken antics north of Delancey Street have slowly crept down towards Canal. We are united against this!

Absolutely agree - we do not need any more drunk tourists puking in our corner on Friday nights!!

Thank you Mr. Marte for keeping us informed. I think CB3 can come up with an even better plan that prioritizes the community's needs and is respectful of the neighborhood's character. The SLA needs to be sensitive to the community and be reasonable in their allowances. The developer's plan is out of touch with the community and is unreasonable.

Establishments like this deteriorate the neighborhood's peaceful quality of life, and worst of all negatively affects the sleeping patterns of local citizens with loud drunken customers exiting out into the streets in the middle of the night.

Please don't turn this part of the LES into another Hell Square!

This is a bad idea. I moved to the LES because it was a family-oriented neighborhood that retained many of its original characters--quietude, and friendliness; a neighborhood for people of all ages, not just those looking to party until the wee hours of the morning. I AM COMPLETELY OPPOSED TO THIS PROPERTY GETTING A LIQUOR LICENSE. MY VOICE SHOULD COUNT FOR SOMETHING!

This building and the hours the bat will stay open is not in keeping with this residential neighborhood with tons of you g families and children. Please don’t allow this to happen.

Stop this! The plan the hotel has will destroy the neighborhood---creating levels of noise at night terrible for our health. We won't be able to sleep!

Let keep LES as a real community neighborhood. CB3 needs to listen and be fair to the residents of the neighborhood. This is only the beginning.
