These dancers are the best in the world, the dedication and commitment they give is impeccable. Please save the 92Y. They should never be replaced. These dancers are pillows in the community.

I thought the mission of the Y was to mainly to promote activities for the people, not be a venue for professional entertainment. It's more fun to dance than to watch other people dance. And it's much better exercise; not only for the body, but for the mind and spirit, too.

Please keep the Swing, Hustle, Salsa & Tango Social Dance Events going. These genres help dancers become better dancers and helps to foster a career in professional dance.

This is an important venue for social dance. It would be a real loss for the dance and senior communities as well.

The wonderful thing about the 92nd Street Y is that it is one of the few places where people from various social dance communities in NY can get together and dance with each other. Social dancing is a form of exercise and source of enjoyment; it allows people from all walks of life to mingle and participate in something joyous and culturally rewarding. Nonprofessional dancers need venues where they can exercise their skills: all social dance instructors say that the best way for us to really learn a dance is to get out there on the floor and dance it. Learning dance isn't just for children or professionals: It's for anyone and everyone--and social dances should be supported by the Y.

The 92nd st Y social dances have always been a fabulous way for all NYers to meet and dancer whether its swing ( my favorite), salsa or hustle. PLEASE don't relplace these dances!!

Please continue to support all dancers, not just performers. There are very few venues left for real experience rather than virtual.
