2023年5月20日，一名朱姓男子在桃園市中壢區一超商內拆開食物又吃又喝，上半身赤裸在店內吼叫，其全身肌肉發達，宛如「綠巨人浩克」，超商店員嚇到報警；中壢派出所2名員警火速到場，孰料，朱男出拳攻擊員警，造成1名員警輕微腦震盪、1人臉部挫傷。襲警後，被噴辣椒水後在超商外仍持續咆哮，還揚言殺人，所以警員以警棍制止。
有網友質疑警方以警棍揮打朱男有執法過當之嫌，但我們認為，朱男情緒不穩定具攻擊性，且尚未被警方制伏上銬，也沒有意願配合警方，警員以辣椒水與警棍制服朱男沒有執法過當。
這次連署，我們希望表達我們支持桃園中壢分局員警，請桃園中壢分局勿為了政治或輿論因素，讓員警受到不公平的待遇。
我們相信：警察保護人民，人民支持警察。

Seeing this much energy behind the message is honestly a bit overwhelming and I never thought it would resonate this far. It really feels like people are finally recognizing what these officers deal with on the line and that support means the world right now.

警察也是人啊！在那種混亂狀況下還要顧慮那麼多嗎？換做是我就直接開槍了，打他幾棍已經很客氣啦。
警察加油，辛苦了。看影片真的很恐怖，那個男的隨時會爆衝，不制服他受傷的就是路人或是店員了！
支持警察！基層辛苦了，千萬不要被那些官員犧牲掉，這種瘋子就是欠教訓。
那些說執法過當的真的很有事，你去超商遇到這種瘋子敢上去勸架嗎？整天只會在鍵盤上指點江山，真的噁心。
The police just did their job. Obviously, the mustled man was out of control. It is correct the police took the tough action to stop the crazy mustled man. I don’t think it’s reasonable to punish the police.
