5G causes damage to humans, animals, and and requires a vast amount of High Voltage Electrical Current which our power grid can not support.

Road Safety - Highly Concerned
I am exceptionally alarmed at the prospect of YET ANOTHER phonemast appearing so VERY, very close to the already existing two others - these existing masts situated within a concentrated area close to and adjacent to the Lower Danescourt Roundabout along the Llantrisant Road.
My absolute and main concern will be the visibility afforded to motorists exciting Heol Urban and entering onto Danescourt Way.
Traffic approaching from the right leaving the Roundabout along Danescourt Way will not be easy to see and unfortunately I fear that visibility will be greatly affected by this mast at this situation.
Road safety at the junction of Heol Urban and Danescourt Way will become quite dangerous.
I would like to bring to the attention of the Planning Committee that the architecture of Danescourt Way approaching Heol Urban to the right from the Roundabout is of a slight elevation which does cause visibility issues for vehicles leaving Heol Urban - especially if vehicles leaving the Roundabout proceeding up Danescourt Way are travelling at speed.
Unfortunately, this is an already existing problem.
I feel in view of this that I have no other choice other than to oppose this telephone mast and to please request Cardiff City Council Planning, to please reconsider.
Thank you.

On a positive note once lockdown is all over this will get the kids out into the community again and not stuck indoors because they will still be able to stream 4K content on their 5G enabled devices whilst blindly wandering around, instead of just indoors on wifi. When will this planning be approved and constructed? So that I can purchase a 5G enabled mobile phone to perfectly coincide time wise.

There are already 2 other masts in this area. A THIRD mast is detrimental to local people in a number of ways, including stress/mental well-being, financial (impact on house prices), safety (visual obstruction/distraction) & potential ‘layering’ of emissions from 3 masts on physical health.
This is not a fair or appropriate place to add this mast.

Actually the range of 5G is only 1000ft, not 1000m. 4G is 10 miles, and those masts are smaller. So another reason to be furious - I live just over 1000ft away so won't even get the benefit of it. We must refuse this location.. although about 50ft north of this location should be fine. How about next to the playground? Or why don't they just put two 4G masts on each roundabout and we could have 8G in the middle. I guess it will still be obscene as mentioned by someone else.. being as it's so obviously phallic.

It is obscene putting this so close to people and totally unneeded.

I object to this mast in the strongest possible manner. It will be located within metres of my property and dominate the skyline. Furthermore from information that I have gleaned, it will only benefit those individuals with access to 5G equipment and gave a range of only 1000metres. This is a classic example of people’s mental and physical welfare being ignored

I live in close proximity to the position of the proposed mast. It will be visible from inside my home and tower above my garden. I feel it will have a real negative impact on my life. I have invested time and money in my home and I feel that my concerns have not be taken into account (along with other nearby residents).

Too close to homes and clearly against all efforts to sustain and improve the health & wellbeing of the community. What is the point of having these policies if they continue to be ignored by city planners. They should be made to heed Policy, and not offset it against other considerations.

I wish there was more we could do about this but the council won't actually listen to our concerns. It's all about the cost and their deadlines. If they cared what we thought they would at least think of some clever solutions. I mean, they could hide it in a tall tree, with just the top sticking out or at least paint it to look like a tree. They could even make it something fun for the kids and adults.. like making it into a 'test your strength' thing with a bell at the top that goes ding when hit hard enough with and a big hammer. No one wants a massive erection in their back yard but at least this way it wouldn't be such an eyesore.

Totally agree, this is going to be such a hazard at 20m high. Has anyone contacted the Civil Aviation Authority to see what they have to say? And birds might fly into it. I drove past that spot earlier and nearly crashed while I was staring up into the sky trying to visualise it at such a height. It's already a hazard. Shocking.

Has anyone mentioned the well documented health issues? 5G masts use a high frequency wavelength. This is thought to affect the frequency of children's brainwaves. Also as this technology is controlled by the Chinese government it is conceivable that they will be able to indoctrinate our children into communism and thus impurify our precious bodily fluids.

This shouldn't be so close to a busy residential area. There is surely a more suitable place for this mast.

We do not need this surely it could be placed in a more convenient place rather than cause obstruction to people views
