Unfathomable how someone could purchase this glorious, architechturally eye catching historic home and plan to demolish it! And replace it with what? A McMansion that can be found in just about every neighborhood in suburbia and looks just like the other homes on the street? The people who plan to tear down this home may have the money, but don't have the appreciation for something that will likely outlast even them and continue to carry stories of its residents for the next generations. Shame.

Why would anyone want to destroy something so beautiful .. If anything preserve history and houses with character like this one ... mc Mansions are overrated .. See one you've seen them all.. This you don't see often.. This was made with love .. Labor and that's why it's still standing today.. This is when they made houses ... Please reconsider taking this beautiful home away

Homes like this are the heart and soul of the Town Of Greenwich. These beautiful structures are the last remnants of a bygone era - an era of grace. To demolish this piece of history would be an irrevocable scar on the face of the town and a disgrace to our forebears. My family has had the pleasure of residing in Greenwich for generations and appreciated it quiet elegance and all the town had to offer. I feel the current trend in architecture is not only changing the face of the town we so love, but also illustrates a shift toward the core mentality of it's newest members. Lets not lose the integrity that Greenwich was once admired for. Historic homes such as Hobby Horse Farm need to be revered, not destroyed.....

I grew up in Greenwich, now live in Atlanta. Greenwich is almost getting worse than Atlanta about tearing down beautiful places that having meaning for the community. Please don't replace this lovely, appropriate building with a McMansion.
