Demolishing this beautiful, historic home would be an unimaginable mistake, Why purchase it if there is no meaning or value other than as a building site - surely there are other properties upon which to build? Please reconsider and put 56 Clapboard Ridge Road back on the market for an owner who will appreciate it for generations to come .

Enough is enough! Greenwich has lost so many of it's landmarks. Do we want to end up looking like White Plains. WE can never bring back what we allow to be torn down. Let us finaly say"NO MORE1"

Too many old homes have already disappeared in Greenwich. I grew up there and hope to see some of its history survive.
