This is a beautiful home. Tearing it down would like architectural euthanasia. Don't do it!

I lived across from this house for many years growing up. It was built by my ancestor, Benjamin Reynolds and if it is on the registry of historic places and is plaqued, can it even be torn down? Would be a shame.

Please save these fine older homes which have been cared for with love and attention to the details of the period. Greenwich has always had standards and it is a shame to see such efforts to preserve a fine example of architecture torn down to build another McMansion for another outsider just coming to our town to exploit its treasures.

History will soon only be viewed in books & museums if we continue to allow the destruction of physical property that represents the different periods of time that have existed before us.

Very sad that the town of Greenwich is allowing this to happen.

As a 50+year resident of Greenwich, this breaks my heart...beyond that, it's ruining the town we love and destroying all we love about it.

It amazes me how and why anyone would want to demolish a beautiful house for the sake of greed. I grew up in Greenwich when the towns folks were friendly, cordial and courteous. The would "greed" was never in their minds.
I hope the Towns Officials will wake up and stop rubber stamping these great old houses.

This is our history! It is also our legacy to leave these things for the next generation, People that buy these properties for the express purpose of bulldozing because they like the community, the countryside but not the hours, should be invited to move back to the city!
