Let's complete this highway so that parents and children, the elderly and all of our citizens can spend more family time together but not just in a car.

Energize this project without delay. Make such changes as are necessary but do NOT allow dilatory action.

Charleston traffic is horrible. Completing 526 will help alleviate this problem.

Finish this bridge so I can get home to my family in a timely fashion! Johns island is growing exponentially and the worst has yet to come.

I opposed it at first, but, they have put many carts before the horse with approving all these subdivisions w/o infrastructure. I shudder to think about hurricane evacuations. Also, filling in the runoff areas for apartments has blocked the way for all the water at 17 and Main Rd. to flow away from the problem areas in the recent sandbag/lane restriction situation. I have NEVER, in 30+ years, seen the crazy traffic that occurred coming onto Johns Island from both entry points!

I remember when they started building 526, and it should have been completed then-money or no money-SC would have figured it out! We need 526 to be finished, NOW.....

Traffic in the greater charleston area is out of control. The successful efforts to attract people to the area have not been met with appropriate plans to accommodate the population growth. Stop building residential dwellings and start building/widing roads and bridges.

526 needs to be completed in it's entirety, with a 55 or 60 mph speed limit; not some slow boulevard with traffic lights. The NIMBYs need to grow up! The population of Johns Island is growing. It is not a rural area! I can take you just about anywhere on Johns Island you want to go a show you a new subdivision going in somewhere.

Until 526 can be completed I think they need to put up a blinking light on the Stono Bridge for alternating traffic. The small sign they have now is so small most people in the inside lane choose to not see it or ignor it and it too causes a back up in traffic.

Johns Island needs that interstate completed. There has been way too much growth without proper infrastructure.

Do it now or wait until gridlock. Most of the opposition thinks it will cause growth. Drive down maybank. Growth with happen with or without an efficient highway system. The other opposition purchased property that they knew at closing, would probably be effected from the constructed highway. They chose to go through with the closing. The time has come. I was a kid and rode my bicycle down 526 when it was just ROC and gravel. Its been long enough.

If 30,000 building permits have been issued for johns island, where and how are these new residents going to get around!

This has been passed for over 20 years. I love living on Johns Island but I also hate living on Johns. Just look at what happened this past week. Rain and a High Tide... Bunk! clear the drains do some road adjustments for the 40K building permits and finish 526! I didn't vote for him!
