It's funny that we are so concerned about stopping sexual assault, and yet show movies like this on campus. It doesn't stack up.

Not only should this movie not be shown during Sexual Assault Awareness month, movies like this should never be played on campus!

I feel indifferent about this movie/book. I mean it doesn't exactly make sexual assault okay. The girl in the book and in the movie says yes and accepts the man to move forward with the sexual acts. If someone has been assaulted, I'm sorry that it happened but that has nothing to do with this movie.

50 Shades of Grey should not be on campus or be seen.

Remove this movie from the theater. I feel threatened by the idea of women wanting to be dominated.

I am a student at UWM working on a sexual assault awareness campaign. Ironically, our residence hall is also showing 50 shades of Grey this month.

Although the movie softens the abuse aspect of the book, it still encourages the use of abuse and dominance without discussing the real issues behind this.
