It is unreasonable to not provide an option for students bringing things to their room

This really needs to happen. Most students park in the 29th garage or coulter. Both are such a long walk and the golf carts rarely go out there and there are no carts on the weekends.

i agree 100%. the fines are absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary when people have things to move in or out of their room, along with groceries, and pick ups or drop offs.

The parking situation has to change.

The issue is, if we are buying groceries and avoiding the heat, we are carrying heavy things from far away at night which also poses a safety risk. Or carrying during the day, and my frozens are no longer frozen by the time I get to campus.

This needs to be resolved. Especially if so many kids barely have the spare money to spend on a dumb $100 fine

I'm glad someone said something because walking from the garage with large or heavy loads, is not a fun experience. There should be space for people to unload and not get fined. As for golf carts, literally every time I need one they are never there!!

I'd like to add that charging parking fees for a construction zone comes off as money-grubbing. If I'm going to be parking in a dirt lot half a mile from my apartment, I may as well have skipped the parking permit and gone to park in an abandoned lot a few streets up.

This is awesome, GCU definilty needs to do something about this. Finding students $100 is not showing students that you care about us and our success. Health is important to brain function and grocery shopping is necessary for good nutrition and health but we need a way to get our food to our room that is reasonable. Temporary parking would solve this issue.

As a parent it becomes an anxiety ridden adventure to pick up my student, drop something off or just want to visit in her apt for a few minutes. The lack of available parking is a huge deterent.
