We, 4th Year Dentistry Students, hereby ask that the entrance exam for the course Prosthetic Dentistry II be reconsidered as a prerequisite for having the oral exam in light of the abysmal passing rates which may not show the actual extend of knowledge the students have in the subject. Changing the prerequisite may help the students to continue to the oral exam and this are able to showcase their complete knowledge and be examined and judged based on that.

The administration has acknowledged the volume of this petition and requested a formal meeting to discuss current examination prerequisites. I am currently drafting a briefing document that outlines the discrepancy between the written testing format and our clinical proficiency.

In my opinion, iPad test can not show the real knowledge we process for this subject in the past few weeks.. If the failure rate is too much, deportment should take the results into to very well consideration. Is the failure rate too high that completely distort the original purposes? Reconsideration and modify the iPad test is serious in need.
iPad exam is not fair when we have to pick 3 topics already for our knowledge! That should be sufficient knowledge

Very few people have been passing the tablet exam despite the fact that they have studied all of the oral topics. I think this shows that the tablet exam doesn't reflect well on how much the students have studied or their level of knowledge.
