Sharon Schlink, United States, Highland, IN: To replace the regalia is indeed an insult to all past and present 4th degree Knights of Columbus members. To see them participate, in regalia, in a mass, and form the sign of the cross through the church is a sight to behold indeed! And when they participate in the local parades in full regalia, I can't see the children running up asking to see their BERET instead of their sword or chapeau. Keep the regalia, lose the blazer and beret.

The proposed new military style UNIFORM to replace symbolic REGALIA is an insult to all past and present 4th degree Knights of Columbus members. Why are we supposed to look like a group of Nazi soldiers instead of a group of individuals prepared to help and support Widows and Orphans for which our Knights of Columbus was founded for, and also to defend the CATHOLIC CHURCH and all its Leaders and members? Who wants to be a member of a group of military looking thugs (are we going to carry guns in place of our symbolic swords of brave KNIGHTS)? I will never purchase or wear this proposed new UNIFORM.

New 4th degree, younger cannot afford new or old. The new cost is of reason just add gold buttons, and a patch with the berea instead of $ 500 Expense.

I would like to see the regalia stay the as it is. No one that I know likes the new style or is going to be able to afford it. I myself will not be able to afford it or afford to save money for it. I have 3 kids that my money needs to go to first.

I became a 4th Degree Sir Knight like my father before me. I was so proud to see him as a member of the Honor Guard! My children made a gift of the regalia to me as a memorial to my father. I will terminate my membership if this unilateral decision is sustained.

I became a Knight. And a 4th degree 2 years ago. Proud to be a Knight. Planking on buying all the regalia for this proud. Honor guard. Then you come out with this joke of a sorry looking military uniform. I WANT ONE I'LL WEAR MY DOD FUNERAL HONOR GUARD UNIFORM. KOT THIS DISCUSTING. LOOKING JOKE.

I being a veteran think this is terrible mistake. Please reconsider polling active 4th degree members. This is to important an change to make with so little input.

If they force me to change regalia outfit with the new "mercenary" type uniform, I'll drop off the 4th degree, and I'll not recruit anybody ever. The priest from my church told me that he will not allow any more honor guard if knights show with the new uniform, which , by the way look so ridiculous.

I honor and cherish the Regalia I have. It was handed down from my Brother Knight Ed Karwatka. I will not give this up to where another different Regalia.
