I do like the change. And I will not be purchasing the new suggested garb.

I reject the change of the 4th Degree Regalia. Please leave well enough alone, I do not want to look as if I am attending a New England prep school.
Please reconsider your decision.

Has Washington DC relocated to New Haven Connecticut...it's time for a change in leadership within our organization...the current Supreme Knight and his staff have become to far removed as to what the concensus is regarding our regalia...I will leave the K of C if I am forced to change my 4th degree attire!!!

The current regalia has nothing to do with why young Catholic men are failing to join the Knights. Failure of our youth to give of themselves for the benefit of others is a societal issue found throughout all not-for-profits. Changing the regalia will only cause division among those who remain in the Knights and not lead to young Catholic men joining the Knights.

I wear my Father's Regalia to Honor the finest Catholic man that I have ever known! That includes all those "out of touch" men who decided to disgrace our honorable Regalia. Our Assembly just two months ago issued 3 free "handed-down" Regalia to young men UNDER 24 YEARS of age. They could not have afforded to purchase the old nor the new Regalia if it were not for our deceased brothers who passed theirs to men that they would never even meet! That is the spirit of the 4th Degree, Unity and Fraternity. You say most Sir Knights are 60 years old and older. Well how many of us do you think at our age have the money to buy another new outfit? We have 8 tuxedos, shirts, ties, cummerbunds and 5 more complete sets of Regalia to give for FREE to our members. Can Supreme match that? This Assembly has voted to suspend the wearing of any Regalia if Supreme dictates that we must wear the new outfit. Wearing Regalia is not mandatory, we do it out of RESPECT to our Catholic Faith. And another thing, to dress like our military is an insult to those brave men who serve US, many of whom risk their very lives! We are not worthy nor should we pretend that we are equal to those fine men. We know that Supreme has invested an unbelievable amount of money and will not change it's mind. They have just dealt the 4th Degree Regalia a death blow! We will continue to serve but most of our members never had Regalia and now, none of us will have it.

I will not purchase the new uniform. Actually, now that I think of it, I never thought we had a uniform. We dress like Catholic gentlemen in tux and baldric. We only donn a Regalia when serving in a special honor guard. Yes, all honor guards are special. So, I reject the idea of reducing a Regalia reminiscent of Knights of Old to a uniform. If so, the chivalry it represents may be dead.

A will purchase or wear the new 4th degree outfit. I will not participate in any cermeony where it is worn. I will not recruit any new members to the 4th degree. While at the Supreme Convention, not a single SK liked the the change. Most were adamently against it. This is what happens when a leader surrounds himself with yes men. Disgraceful!

It seems as if this change was NOT something desired by the membership but perhaps just a small percentage of the leadership. Retain the current regalia!!!!

I am open to considering changes to the regalia. However, this should be addressed with local input. I personally do not like the new uniform at all and will not be purchasing it.
