Why was this change made without input from the majority of 4th Degree Knights. New design will not attract more members or generate positive response from general public.

I am proud that my husband participates in fourth degree honor guards. I hate the change and will not allow the new uniform in our home.

I will never change my regalia. It is the Honor Guard and a great representation of Catholic men in support of their faith and patriotism.

The current regalia is most impressive to Catholics and those who are not are still impressed with our capes, plumes and swords when we participate in parades or during Mass. Young people are most in awe of us, we are stately and Patriotic.

I have been a 4th Degree and Honor Guard member for nearly 40 years.
Our leadership is way off base if they believe regalia is a deterrent to "new" membership in the 4th Degree. First of all, there is no need for regalia should you not desire to be a member of the revered and esteemed Honor Guard.
I PROUDLY wear my current regalia. It belonged to my father.
To wear this NEW garb, which makes us look like a group of fagots from the French Foreign Legion is absurd. I wear my current regalia with GREAT PRIDE.
I WILL NOT switch to this humiliating outfit.
Young Catholic gentlemen don't move up to the 4th Degree for a number of reasons, which Supreme had better further investigate, prior to initiating such a "sorry ass" change to a beautiful and meaningful tradition.
I WILL drop out of the Honor Guard, should this change be initiated.
Wake up, Gentlemen !!!!!!

Our Brand has 2 centuries of a historical recognition of duty, service, compassion, Christianity, etc. Our regalia are recognized with respect and honor. The new proposed beret reminds me of a college band or a parade in "San Francisco". Do you think Mercedes Bens will change their emblem or Rolls Royce?? So, let's keep our Brand untouched. $510 plus alterations for new uniform plus what I've already paid for regalia, tux, shirts, shoes, accessories, etc. I don't think so.
