I SUPPORT THE 3% OR GO HOME LAW.
"If, on July 1 of any year, federal deficit spending exceeds 3% of the GDP (according to the Congressional Budget Office), no current member of the House of Representatives may seek reelection."
This law would quickly end nonsense earmark spending and would be a huge incentive to cut waste. At the same time, members of Congress would be reluctant to foster tax breaks that do not result in increased revenue (through job creation, etc.) A bill supporting the 3% OR GO HOME LAW would not get enough support in congress to reach a floor vote unless a mass of voters demand it. Finally some accountability for these people in DC. they spend money like its not ours and they never pay the price for it. this needs to happen now!
