This process has been a complete nightmare. I have moved twice had a new phone number and have not been able to receive any updates or information from anyone. Like many I have felt lost and confused in a process that was supposed to fight for me. I was told that I did not qualify for anything over 10k because even though I had orders sending me to combat in 2006 as a medic because of a specific form that I have never heard of. I can show my disability and VA benefits for tinnitus.

We Deserve Justice, Not Exploitation
It’s hard to put into words what it feels like to live with permanent hearing damage — the ringing, the isolation, the stress. What makes it even harder is knowing that when justice was finally served, nearly half of our settlement was taken by the very people who were supposed to help us.
47% of our compensation went to lawyers. That’s not justice — that’s greed.
We trusted the system to help us recover, but instead we’re left with lifelong injuries and only a fraction of what we were promised. No one warned us that the legal system would take nearly as much as the people responsible for the damage. This isn’t just unfair — it’s a betrayal.
There needs to be more transparency. There needs to be regulation. And above all, there needs to be respect for the people who are actually suffering.
To anyone else out there who’s gone through this — you’re not alone. It’s time we speak up. It’s time we demand change.
