​Petition to Make the Temporary Stoplight at the Intersection of France Ave S and W 39th Street Permanent

In the last ten years of living near this intersection, we’ve seen 12 plus car accidents. People slow down with a traffic light and it’s safer for pedestrians as well. I definitely support this petition!

This intersection had up temporary stop signs around 11/11 and the traffic flowed smoothly.

I’d appreciate this for safety

This intersection is very dangerous without the traffic signal. Please keep this .

Turning on to France or crossing from the east is very dangerous.

The stop lights on 39th and France Ave Sourh have added to the safety for cars, bikers and walkers at that very busy intersection.

I live on this block and have heard/witnessed multiple accidents at this intersection. Yes we need permanent stoplights there!!!

10/24/24 saw another devastating accident. Years ago I was rear ended at this intersection while waiting to turn left. A stop light would be a welcome addition and increase safety for all!!!

Heavy traffic on France, especially at rush hours, makes it very difficult to get through the intersection from 39th.
