This is a critical safety improvement in this area to keep France Avenue from becoming another informal Highway.

Safety is a huge concern. Impossible for pedestrians to cross on 39th.

I cross France on foot at this intersection daily. It’s been a relief having a traffic light here to make cars stop so I can do so safely. Many drivers speed on France; it often feels more like a county highway than the local road it is.

There needs to be a stoplight for safety reasons.

Live near Huntington and 38th with two children. Without the stoplight, it is not safe enough for our children to cross France by foot or by car. Please make the stoplight permanent so that it is safe and no more serious accidents happen.

Too many accidents on France between 38th and 39th.

I think the more dangerous intersection is 38th and France and would like a stoplight here, but one a block away would be better than nothing to slow cars speeding down France

Living one block from this intersection, my family is much safer with the traffic lights in place. We should be doing all we can to make our neighborhood safer.

I live in Linden Hills and find myself at this intersection occasionally. I have found the stop light very useful whenever I need to cross.

No accidents since the current light is not a coincidence. #zerodeaths

Personally I would prefer the stoplight to be at 38th and France, but either way a stoplight at either 39th or 38th and France is much needed.
