There has to be better locations than near a residential and school area.

So close to a public school??? This is very upsetting to me. They don't think of family and children, but continue to help those who CHOOSE to live this way and and ruin their lives even more...why ruin everyone else's!!

They also set up a stabilisation space on Bathurst. Even witnessed 3 homeless people doing theft in the area.

So the police department, doesn't want them. Hospitals, don't want them. Guess what, the hard-working families of this area don't want them either! There is no doubt in my mind that there will be Security on site for these people coming down from their Highs. But who is going to monitor them when they leave the premises? Want to know what an area looks like from centres like this? Take a drive down Wellington and look at the Salvation Army. Garbage strewn everywhere. Tents on the street. People coming out of their walking into traffic, yelling at cars, yelling at pedestrians. Firsthand I have witnessed prostitutes servicing John's in parking lots in that area. Now can someone please explain to me why we want to move a centre like this into a residential area at the end of a cul-de-sac less than 1 km from a public school?! I can assure you that the hard-working families of this area will not stand for this and we'll fight tirelessly to prevent having a centre like this in our neighbourhood. Drug addicts need to be close to the centres where they can access resources, putting a Band-Aid on the problem and letting them ride out there high in a residential area is not the answer.

Having the house be a home for teens in need is one thing. But to have adults congregating in the area whom are high and not in a state of mind to make responsible decisions is problematic.

Why would you put this in a residential neighbourhood where there are children. Why doesn't Mr. Turner put it in his nighourhood.

People definitely need somewhere to go but not in a residential community.

In what world do they think this is a good idea. It's not safe for the neighbourhood kids and and elderly residents. Put in on the grounds of the Hospital if they want it close to the facility

Kids in area. City and police should be looking at an alternative as unsafe
