Definitely inappropriate use for this land and it does not comply with the allowable zoning.

We are homeowners in this neighbourhood and are fearful for our children!

I live in the neighbourhood and strongly oppose placing something like this in a primarily residential area.

This will ruin the neighbourhood and make it even less safe. We clearly see what happens on Dundas st. Why would they want to ruin another part of the city with break ins, drug paraphanelia, etc left around

I am not in favor of the COL making this a core area stabilization space for homeless drug users in London. Please add us to the emailing list. Thanks

I can't believe this property is even being considered in such a highly populated residential area.

With multiple schools and daycares nearby, this poses a huge risk to the safety of young children. This service needs to be somewhere that is not residential ie. downtown.

This is not an appropriate location. Old South is primarily elderly citizens and young families. This would be a huge risk to safety and would be better located downtown or somewhere that is not residential.

Not suitable in a residential neighbourhood. This location would not be secure and would certainly invite even more petty crime onto our streets.

Please situate a residence for homeless drug users further away from residential areas. This could be a safety issue.

These facilities should not be in residential, family housing areas ... check around the city for vacant buildings away from families, as there are many that could be put to good use for the homeless & drug-issue people.

Really ? I get the need , but in the middle of a residential neighborhood. You already can't keep up to the crime. Put it close to the police station for what should be obviously clear reasons , and response time .

This Sylvan St. location would be impossible to monitor and supervise with any effectiveness, which would result in all people living in the area being left very vulnerable. This location is completely WRONG for the proposed purpose.

While a stabilization space is likely a needed service, 345 Sylvan St is a completely inappropriate location, for all the reasons others have addressed. It's not a matter of NIMBY; many more suitable locations have been suggested and should be researched.

Please, find another "core area stabilization space" for our homeless and/or those who suffer from serious mental health issues and drug/alcohol addictions. Away from quiet, residential areas. To select this location (345 Sylvan Street) or any location that is amongst families, seniors, children, daycares, schools, etc. should not and must not be deemed suitable. Note, that many seniors (I am one of them) feel extremely vulnerable. Of late, a few 'homeless' have begun pushing grocery carts up and down the streets in this area late at night and during recycling bin days. Having a shelter in this location (or any quiet residential location for that matter) will only promote more of this kind of activity and permanent/temporary settlement, i.e., loitering, drug trafficking, noise, etc. Please find another locale. We, especially all of us who live in and in the environs of this area (as well as other like areas in our fair city), will thank you which will enable us to continue to live in peace and with respect for our neighbourhood and neighbours, near and not so near. Thank you.
