I believe that this is exactly the kind of development that is needed in order to make our neighborhoods more diverse and to increase density so as to mitigate the problem of greenhouse gases.

Before moving to San Diego I lived in Chicago and never had an apartment that included parking. I loved living in the city and having a place to live with reduced cost (not having to pay for the parking I would never use) was a huge help in setting a firm financial foundation in my young adult years. This project would provide a similar opportunity to people in San Diego that do not have or do not want to have or pay for the costs to store an automobile. A great project from a proven development / architecture name in San Diego. Love this idea and hope to see much more in future.

Buildings that support new ideas in transportation and living should be embraced and studied. Little Italy has been a test model for revitalizing neighborhoods across America. This is the next logical step and demonstrates San Diego is capable of bigger thinking. As a long term business owner in Little Italy, I wholeheartedly support this project.

Cars are becoming obsolete, with the advent of uber and lift, soon we will have driverless cars and the need for parking will greatly be reduced, not to mention public transportation is getting better each year!

Great community project

This development proposal is first and foremost civic conscious. As well, it will inevitably be viewed as pioneering to general urban development here and across the country. Vision will be essential to maintaining the integrity of this burgeoning neighborhood and this is clearly a prudent and intelligent step in the right direction.

There is an old adage that goes FORM FOLLOWS PARKING but for goodness sake, lets stop planning for cars and start planning affordable housing for the working class.

San Diego desperately needs this type of down scale, affordable, infill development.

This will be an asset to the neighborhood....replacing a blighted corner.
