The City of Laramie plans to make 22nd Street the main, and only paved, access point into Cirrus Sky Technology Park (CSTP).  We, the undersigned, urge the City of Laramie to develop and pave 30th Street, or a combination of 30th Street and Asphalt Lane, instead and to have these roads be the main access point(s) for CSTP.  This would then negate the need to  extend 22nd Street over the ridge and into CSTP at the present time.

IF YOU CAN WRITE WHAT STREET YOU LIVE ON IN THE COMMENTS SECTION THAT WOULD BE EXCELLENT.

Updates

February 20, 2013

I have been walking the path behind my house every evening and thinking about how drastically the traffic will change our daily lives if they push this road through 22nd Street. Your comments about the safety of our neighborhood streets and the quiet we are fighting to protect keep me focused on the goal. We are still waiting for a formal response from the planning office but I am currently organizing the feedback to ensure they cannot ignore our concerns.

Seeing this grow makes me realize we are truly united in protecting our neighborhood streets from unnecessary traffic. It is heartening to know so many of you value the quiet of our homes as much as my family does.

Seriously? who thought 22nd was a good idea. its a residential street not a highway. put the road where it belongs on asphalt ln.

22nd street is way too busy already with the school right there. keep the traffic away from the kids. i live on 21st and it already takes forever to get out of my driveway.

Laramie needs better planning. stop ruining our quiet neighborhoods for a tech park. I live on 30th and its the obvious choice for road access.

30th street is the only logical spot! stop trying to shove everything through the middle of town.

Please listen to us. that ridge is a nightmare for traffic. 30th makes way more sense for everyone involved.
