The Blackhawks haven\'t won a Stanley Cup since 1961. The longest drought in the NHL to date. If that isn\'t bad enough at this point time we are no closer to winning one anytime soon. Over the course of the of the Hawks history we have watched star players and fan favourites leave while still in their prime over money issues by an owner who could more than afford to keep them. In the last 16 years the Hawks have not drafted one forward in the first round who didn\'t bust and numerous coaches and GM\'s who have been fired only to hire someone with less experience than the last one. In that time they have signed players and traded for players that are now considered swear words around Hawks fans like Karpovtsev and Berizen. The players they traded them for usually went on to have good careers. The home games are not on TV and there\'s little to no coverage of the team in the city through the papers or radio(except for Tim Sassone of the Daily Herald). The arena is empty and the roar is dead and gone. The owner runs the team like it\'s 1964. WE NEED A NEW OWNER!
