AFTER WHAT HAPPENED TO MY SISTER--OF COURSE I WILL SIGN THIS PETITION. HE UNLAWFULLY CHARGED MY SISTER WITH DUI AND REFUSED TO GIVE HER A TEST TO PROVE HER INNOCENCE. THERE WERE SO MANY FALSE /LIES IN HIS REPORT. SHE LOST HER JOB, LOST HER CAR AND PUT HER IN SEVERE DEBT. AND ALL CHARGES AGAINST HER WERE DROPPED. AND I'M A FORMER RESIDENT OF STATHAM AND WILL NEVER DRIVE THRU WITHOUT SOMEONE ELSE BEING IN THE CAR WITH ME, DUE TO UNTRUSTWORTHY POLICE DEPARTMENT. DIRTY COP NEED TO BE FIRED AND LOSE HIS RIGHT TO EVER BEING ON A FORCE AGAIN

This officer needs his badge taken and throwed in jail like he done to innocent people and for Statham city to allow this to happen is telling us we need new people on city council. There all crooked u ask me especially mayor bridges he has a son on meth has he been pulled over yet no of course not. We all know mr so called mayor

This guy should serve a MINIMUM of twice the amount of time all of his victims COMBINED have had to serve, in addition to having to reimburse his victims TWICE the amount of money it has cost each one of them! This is a prime example of why people don't trust the police.

This officer has no honor and does not deserve to be in his position as a Law Enforcement Officer. No investigation is needed. He should be terminated immediately and lose his certification.

Chief Allan Johnston is on video using the same "tactics." He clearly encourages this behavior. It is my opinion that he actually tutors his officers in making false arrests--especially for DUI-drugs-less safe.

I just watched the videos of Marc Lofton of Statham PD. It should be a red-flag concern to his superior that this officer appears to ask citizens for personal medical information, then appears to make sweeping medical judgments way beyond his policing scope. He is observed ON VIDEO escalating the situation with inflammatory remarks, then using the citizen's response to further bully. In my opinion, this guy (he should not be called an officer - that is unfair to those who truly honor their oath!) should not be in a position of power over others; he is a bully. I would hope the city will take the needed actions to protect citizens, esp those who have unfairly incurred loss of liberty and costs because of this guy's mis-use of power. I addition, the city of Statham should be concerned about the EMS crew - - in one video I saw three medics appear to be joking with him about a hand-cuffed woman in distress, as she asked for water multiple times. City Leadership should look into all of this - - Statham may have a toxic culture pervading its police and EMS departments. Very sad.
