2nd Petition for investigation of Officer Marc Lofton, Statham Police Department

Statham has stoped protecting its citizens and stared collecting revenue at any means necessary.

Why is this guy still on the job. Bad cops always get a pass

These videos are so disgusting and alarming. This is very bad p.r. for our little town and a perversion of justice. This man needs to be fired and never allowed to serve on any p.d. He definitely has mental health issues and enjoys using his position to feed his power trip. The best that I can compare him to is Barney Fife. We don't need this man harassing innocent citizens.

Wrongfully accused of being DUI Drugs for no other reasoning than the location my family / friends reside being that of an issue to the arresting officer. No arrest could have been more cruel and unjust as it pertains to the definition of the charges. My life has been HELL SINCE THAT DAY !!!

Come on people we don't need a cop like him in Statham he is evil and crooked. Take it from me I got my wrist broke by him not once but twice. He needs his badge taken away and we all need to sue Statham for falsely being arrested

I was not going to sign this petition as I no longer live in Statham Ga but after seeing a new video of the said cop in question falsifying documents over the arrest of an obviously innocent local college student it completely changed my mind. Hopefully Barrow County will conduct an internal investigation into the officer. Just my 10 cents.

I have never seen such irresponsibility in an organization and city government as there is in Statham GA. I feel bad for the business owners because I'm sure every person who has been a victim of this lawless police department is telling everyone they know to stay out of this town. I work two jobs and they are both local and I have contact with hundreds of people and each and every one hears my story. This cop is the cop that gives all other cops a bad name and getting them hurt and killed. He really puts a target on their backs. Take the badge andthe gun from thismentally unstable idiot.

"To protect and serve" has become "us against them". From the militarization of our police force, the elimination of Posse Comitatus, and lawmakers undermining our constitution every year we seem to be moving more and more towards fascism in this country. Today selling loose cigarettes in New York is an immediate death sentence. Simply not complying with an officer's orders Carries an immediate death sentence. When were police granted the right to be judge jury and executioner? Unarmed Americans can now be killed by police without zero accountability. They follow a mafia code to not rat on their brothers and their family sticks a black and blue sticker on their car so they can avoid being accountable for any traffic violations. In America we have more prisons and prisoners than any other country in the world. 85% of people in prison are drug offenders. The majority of those drug offenders are in prison for a natural plant while at the same time tobacco kills 500,000 Americans every year and is perfectly legal. 18000 new laws are passed down on us annually laws that can make the simple housewife a criminal yet the parrots of America like to repeat how free we are and what a great country this is. The ATF who gives guns to drug cartels have had no accountability for their actions which cost the lives of boarder patroll agents yet sheep support these organizations as if they are our heroes. Patriotism doesn't mean praising the boot that steps on your neck. When did we become a nation of dependant cowards unable to self govern? Some of you actually support tyranny and don't even realize what freedom really means. "The tree of liberty must be fed with the blood of patriots and tyrants ". All these people can't be lying. For this many people to have this many issues with "ONE" officer. He has to be a real piece of work. I hope the leaders of this great community will recognize when you have a bad apple

If these records r true I'll agree. Statam always have had a police with the Roscoe an Inez.

Please ! Our justice system does do the right thing

He needs to be fired AND lose his P.O.S.T. certification. He has hurt the public. He does not serve and protect. Don't defend him or his policing practice unless you have been stopped by him. If you defend him you need to provide your case number for verification.
