2nd Petition for investigation of Officer Marc Lofton, Statham Police Department

I am basing this solely on the videos I have viewed. It appears obvious that this officer makes up excuses to initiate field sobriety tests, and then begins "fishing" for something to charge citizens with.

This man is an embarrasment to ALL police.

This man is way out of line and should not be a police officer. His behavior is despicable as well as infuriating. That poor woman did nothing wrong and was not impaired at all. She was perfectly coherent and anyone with common sense should be able to see that. I really hope he loses his job because he's clearly on a power trip with his abuse of authority. Threatening to tase this little old woman?why? Why would that ever even be necessary?! Then he does it to her husband the first chance he gets. I wish that part was on video so there would be more evidence of his misconduct.

Corruption trickles down. The blatant disregard for law by those in charge of upholding the laws for citizens speaks volumes of the state of affairs.

This police officer is obviously abusing the authority that has been given to him by the people.

Gives someone a DWI for anti-depressants? Really? Road Piracy, nothing more.

When will the corruption end

Absolute abuse of power !! This man is DUI hungry & tells lies about what legal drug you can take while driving. I am in shock what he has got away with. So sad that Statham Ga. has allowed this to go on. And since when is okay for a male police man to search a female? He should be fired & fined for all the illegal arrest's!

He blew zero and had a negative toxicology report. What the hell is your officer seeing? I could see he wasn't impaired. He may have been speeding but the escalation and false accusations of smelling alcohol and arresting a man on his way to work is too much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a friend of Jessica Fox and I think that Officer Lifton should be fired for his actions with his aweful police work in this case.

This is obvious false arrests. Contact the federal government and also request an investigation into the GBIs Athens field office!

Officer Marc Lofton should be fired immediately. Officer Lofton IGNORED the temperature and overheating of the false arresting individual. The female encountered heat exhaustion and the female tumbled out of the vehicle. The medics and Officer Lofton joked about the medical condition as if the time was Nazi Germany. Officer Lofton is also NOT qualified to give medical opinions since Officer Lofton does not hold any medical certifications. There is something wrong in Statham that allows Officer Lofton to be employed.

Please investigate Mark Lofton for civil rights violations and false arrests plus living on police reports, perjury etc.
