We, the undersigned, petition District Attorney, Brad Smith, to complete a formal criminal investigation of wrongful actions taken by officer Marc Lofton, of the Statham, GA police department.
The allegations include: False swearing, perjury, harassment, falsification of information on police reports, manufacturing evidence, police brutality, unjustified use of taser, violations of his oath, intentional over-charging on arrest reports to secure plea deals of a lesser charge, lying on his own employment application with Statham PD, false imprisonment, violations of civil rights such as free speech, mishandling of evidence including drugs which he claims to have found during search, improper administration of sobriety tests to justify arrest.

I cant believe what is happening to these innocent people. This officer is coasting these people unnecessary time and money, and he is definitely a disgrace to all good cops, the city and state he works in as well as the uniform he wears.
I was falsely given a duo and the results were told to me I had meth in my system and I had been clean for months. He.told my wife that I had prior duo arrest and he needed me to go take test basically I was charged duo due to a past duo I had.
I've seen too many videos of this officer performing field sobriety tests and then proceeding to arrest people who've clearly passed the test. He should lose his badge and get a job where can become a contributing member of society and not a detrimental person.
There is clearly something wrong with the officer it seemed like he already had an agenda before he pulled her over, he should not be allowed to have a gun badge & most importantly a taser. He should be fired and brought up on numerous charges .
This is the kind of behavior by a few LEO's that give them a bad name. Abuse of power such as this needs to be punished so as to dissuade others. Conduct an objective investigation, and if found guilty, punish to the fullest extent of the law.

Please charge this guy with false arrest, kidnapping, perdury, manufacturing evidence, and abuse of authority for arresting innocent citizens for DUIs when they were stone cold sober. When his actions were found out in one department, he resigned and preyed upon Citizens in another country! He's the worst kind of dangerous, pompous, arrogant cops there is!

It is an absolute travesty how this officer treated that elderly cancer patient.It was extremely hard to watch.It's quite obvious he enjoys bringing suffering and misery to whomever he can.Very disgusting behavior to treat another human being the way he does.
