The momentum we have built proves that the politicians in Lansing can no longer ignore the families they are failing. This push is making the House and Senate uncomfortable and that is exactly where they need to be until they pass House Bill 4259.

Family is family. If you pay taxes and raise a kid you should have the same rights as everyone else.
please help us out here. we just want the same legal safety for our children that every other family gets
RIDICULOUS that we are still fighting for this. Do the right thing for once Michigan.
Pass this bill already. My neighbors have been waiting years for this and its just sad that the law treats their kid like they dont have two parents.
it is insane that this is even a debate. kids need both parents legally protected. stop making things harder for families

About time. This bill is long overdue for a lot of michigan families.
