I believe many students have benefited from the conductive and quiet learning environment provided by Aberconway Library. Therefore, we would like to collect as many signatures from Cardiff University students for the 24 hours opening of Aberconway Library (instead of the current 9am-midnight) during the exam revision period.

Updates

April 6, 2016

I have been hearing from so many of you who are tired of getting kicked out of the library right when your revision is hitting its stride. I am currently putting together a formal request to show exactly how much we need that extra study time during these high pressure weeks.

April 6, 2016

Seeing this much energy behind the campaign feels surreal because I know exactly how much we all struggle to find a quiet place to study during these crunch times. The momentum is building fast and it shows that our need for a reliable space is finally being recognized.

Please make this happen, the main library is always way too crowded and I end up wasting an hour just walking around trying to find a table.

I do think this is necessary for us to lead Cardiff university ranking back to the top!

It will be great if the aberconway library is going to operate for 24 hours as it's always full of people on ASSL.

It is important for the only business-oriented library to be open for students during the exam period. We can't find the same books in other places, and the location is also convenient for many students. Some other libraries already do this, so why not Aberconway?

An alternative to Julian Hodge, with the advantage of a quiet study environment and reading facilities (business-related books)
