24 Hour Fitness Lifetime Membership Breach of Contract

24 fitness defrauded me by re negging on my original agreement from over 20 years ago

24hr hr emailed me and said my local club was closing and they were cancelling my membership. I have a 49 per year agreement with them for around 20 years. they are just trying to get out of these lifetime low rate agreements they sold in their early years. I would like to join legal action against them.

24 is greedy and I want my original promised rate

My membership was cancelled by 24 hour fitness, I complained to corporate & they opened an account for me in 2014 stating my membership would never increase. Unfortunetely this year it did and I have been going back & forth with them and they have chosen to be rude, send the wrong contract, and now ignore me as well as my complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau. Had a 24 Hour Fitness lifetime membership of $29/year changed. Also had my all club access changed without approval. This after filing a petition back in 2017 that was supposed to protect my membership status. Planning to file a declaration to proceed in small claims court.

Lifetime member since 2005. Received termination email 1 day after I paid my annual renewal (one month ahead of due date) in October 2025. Contacting legal council that handled the 2018 Class Action lawsuit.

I Had 24hr fitness lifetime a membership sense 1997 at that time we pay them $1600 for 3 years after that $49 dollar a year and I Benn paying every year and I was fighting cancer I haven't used it for cable yers and 2026 I open my app to pay them it was saying active but did't let me to pay on line I call them I did a payment over a phone today I went to work out they said they cancel my membership because of where I signed cloth but my membership was I can work out all over u.s.a any were 24hr fitness is any one suing for this this is not right. wright me email to 24hr fitness

I also had my lifetime contract cancelled in November. I have contacted Customer Support and the Better Business Bureau with no response to either. Sleezy company

24 hour is once again not honoring the original contract and raising my rates from that which I was promised.

Lifetime membership being cancelled without consent in Jan 2026, I have my original contract and will be consulting legal counsel.

They also cancelled my alleged "lifetime" warranty after having it for over 20 years while maintaining timely payments. Corporate said they couldn't do anything even though they are the one's that terminated it. smh

I've been a lifetime "all sport" contract member with 24 Hour Fitness since 2001. I received a letter that my membership was being canceled due to club closure. Like another member in this comment section, my contract allowed me multiple club usage so I also don't understand why I cannot gym at another club location. I have always kept up with paying my $99 annual and now they just decide to kick me to the curb?. That is dirty!

24 hour fitness is terminating my lifetime contract without my consent

I purchased a all-club Lifetime membership in 2004 for thousands of dollars as an initial payment in return for a $49 /year membership for life. Now I just received a letter that my membership will be canceled Nov 15, 2025. They have also removed my membership agreement from their website. They tried this a few years ago and got sued and lost and now they are trying it again.

I bought a lifetime 24 hour fitness “ all sport” package paying a large sum up front and yearly dues and have been denied entry into “super sports” that changed over from sports when when super sports weren’t a thing when I signed up and offer no new amenities

My rate was $49 per year and now is $184 per year after raising annual rate.

They're closing the Sport clubs and only have Super Sport clubs now. They will force you to pay/upgrade!
