24 Hour Fitness Lifetime Membership Breach of Contract

I signed a LIFETIME contract with 24 Hour Fitness, specifically, over 20 years ago and have always kept up with my end of the contract. What, now they get to terminate it just like that? I don't think that is how it works. I think there needs to be some accountability here....

Received an email that my lifetime membership since 2004 of $99/year will be terminated at renewal and an offer of $20 monthly payment and an annual fee of $59 totally $299 a year. This is a 200% increase. There needs to be another class action lawsuit.

I’m reaching out for assistance regarding an issue with my 24 Hour Fitness membership. Roughly 20 years ago, I paid over $600 upfront with the understanding that my annual renewal fee would be $30 for LIFE. However, they are now attempting to raise my yearly fee again without any prior notice or valid explanation.
I’ve been trying to contact 24 Hour Fitness corporate daily, but no one has returned my calls or addressed the situation. Given my long-standing membership and their failure to respond, I’m seeking legal advice on how best to proceed.

My son and I have been members since 2007, and we were guaranteed a $49/year membership for life. My rate was untouched until now. In June 2024, I went online to pay my invoice and saw that it had increased to $94, nearly doubling the cost of our lifetime contracts. All I want is for them to honor what they promised when I signed the contract, guaranteeing me a $49 per year membership for the rest of my life.

24hrfitness increase my annual renewal fee which the saleman said it will not increase . I purchased their lifetime membership. Very upset

I had my rate go up last year. I paid 750 dollars in lump sum and was told that my rate would be 150/yr after that. Behold comes 2015 renewal, they jumped my fee up to 250 dollars. I called them and said we cant do anything about it. This is a breach of contract whether it was written on the contract. NO ONE EXPLAINED TO ME ABOUT THIS BUT HAPPILY TOOK MY MONEY AND SIGNED ME UP. HELP US PLEASE.

I too paid upfront fee for guaranteed $49 annual renewal. They just raised 100% to $99. Just wrong.
