Our aim is simple - the introduction of a 20 mph Speed Limit and Traffic Calming along Cody Road in the village of Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire. Why Cody Road We have decided to start with Cody Road first as it is a long straight road which many drivers travel along at over 30 mph and there is already a 20 mph sign in the Armys Married Quaters Area of the road. The number of vehicles travelling along Cody Road has increased substantially in recent years, especialy since the errection of a barrier on the corner of Kirby Road and Bannold Drove by the Parish Council. So far, pets have been the only casualties on Cody Road. With at least one seriously injured and another recently killed! The next casualty could be you or your child! Our campain is for the installation of 20 mph sign when you enter Cody Road at the junction of Banold Road near the Doctors Surgery and for Traffic Calming mesures to be installed along the road.
