I agree with the petition but also want to thank Bill Wardrop for all his efforts in maintaining the courts. Nancy has always been very responsive to our requests.

This is an amenity that speaks to the health of our community when potential buyers look at Hamlin. Even if you don't play tennis you have to recognize that it feels good to see the courts maintained and the community playing when you walk or drive by.

An active tennis community, with well maintained courts was a requirement for us when we were looking for our home in Mt Pleasant.

I agree that the tennis courts have been somewhat neglected. It would be nice to have a dedicated maintenance person and scheduled cleaning.
