Temporary rezoning is disappointing. I would rather support temporary 6a than temporarily dividing families and dividing middle school/high school feeders.

i have such good friends at a great campus with an amazing band program. We are all devastated that we cannot graduate with the friends we have known for such a long time. We are Wakeland High School Wolverines. I am close to my sister's friends, too. Iit does not make sense that we would not graduate from the same high school. Especially since we did not move from our house or city. Please think about how you are changing who we are and who and what we will become.

do not let the FISD set the precedence with temporary rezoning. This is not what is best for Frisco communities and our families. Join us. Stand up for the rights of your students and community.

While all Frisco ISD high schools are exceptional, and I expect Reedy will be as well, it is in no way exceptional or even in any way acceptable to rip these students away from not only their friends within the neighborhood but their own family members to temporarily fill seats in another location until a better, more permanent solution can be found. Rezoning happens. People relocate, change schools all the time. New friends can be made. But it is just not fair to separate family members in such a way. And has anyone considered the traffic on Main Street between The Trails and the DNT at that time of the morning? While bussing is available to both Wakeland and Reedy, most students at some time or other must go in early for tutorials, sports and other activities. It will be a complete logistical nightmare! Please find another solution.
