This proposal would leave one of my children at Wakeland while my middle child goes to Reedy. I am not against being rezoned to a new High School. However the temporary solution would cause my third child to attend Wakeland. This causing non of my children the opportunity to ever be at the same High school together.

Temporary reassignments are anything but temporary for the students affected by this proposal! If this is allowed to happen to The Trails and Meadowcreek, rest assured, the precedent will have been set and then no neighborhood/feeder pattern/household is "safe."

I do not really care whether I attend Reedy or Wakeland next year. What I do care about is the splitting up of my family and many other families in the trails. It doesn't make sense for me to attend Reedy if all four of my younger siblings end up attending Wakeland. It will cost more money to attend two high schools and will take a lot more time in the morning. What about when Reedy plays Wakeland who do we cheer for?? In the end I don't care if I end up going to Reedy, I would only have been at Wakeland for a year but splitting up my family among two different high schools is not the right solution. I hope y'all take this to mind when revising your proposal.

I am a freshman at Wakeland and wish to graduate as a Wolverine. I have friends and commitment to this school, please don't separate me from my brother and friends. I implore the leaders of the district to find a different solution. This one is not acceptable. I would rather deal with crowded halls than split our neighborhood and home.
