John Janey was an excellent person who did not deserve to die this way. His killer needs to stay in jail for the rest of his life and think of what he did to this man and the Janey family!

Convicted of 1st Degree Murder, he gets life with mercy. Which is not what Deputy Janey received or deserved. Keep Robert M. Gray behind bars.

This cold blooded murder should rot in jail for what he did, John was hired to watch a house that Robert Gray was hired to burn down, the person that hired him should rot in jail 2, Robert Gray broke the heart,s of John,s family , they died that day to.

Signed. No officer deserves to be harmed while in the line of duty. These individuals put their lives on the line every single day. I pray for the family affected by this tragedy.

A person convicted of pre-meditated murder such as this should automatically be sentenced to execution.

Shouldn't even have to fight to keep him in jail! You take someones life then your life needs to be taken with your freedom until you expire and this is a Law Enforcement Officer! Absolutely sickening how this is even being discussed and fought to keep him there. :(
