For the past 31 years our organization has been run by it\'s members/volunteers. The members make up the nominating committee, vote for the Board and vote on By-law changes. With the proposed By-law changes the members will no longer have a right to vote or decide who should be on our board. The statement that we are a non-destroy organization has been removed from the purpose of our organization. The Board will now have scattered and longer terms instead of the current annual term. The Board will now decide who will replace them not the members who run the organization. These proposed changes would forever alter the essence of our organization.
