I own a 2010 Venza, and yes, when I first purchased my car the visor felt a little stiff but it worked, shortly after it just flopped down and has not worked since. I agree, it seems that the problem was upon installation, so I don't understand why it is so expensive to repair?...

I also own a 2009 Toyota Camry with 60,000 miles and same happened with my sunvisors. First the driver side one fell when I was on the freeway and now the passenger side one fell.

I bought a new 2011 Camry LE and the driver side sun visor broke at 50,000 miles. VIN is not covered under Toyota's Sun Visor Repair Program. Dealer wants to charge a $150 Diagnostic Fee before even giving an estimate on visor repair. Last Toyota I will ever purchase.

2009 Venza, both sun visors failed, would not stay in upright position, 24K miles. Both replaced at dealer under warranty about 16 months ago. Now, drivers side has failed for the 2nd time. Clearly a poor design and is a hazard while driving. Last Toyota I will ever own. 44k miles

The same thing happened to me. My driver side sunvisor will not stay up. It is dangerous for my husband to drive the car because he is taller than me and the visor ubstructs his view while driving. I am shorter than him so it does not bother me as much but still needs to be replaced.
