Toyota sun visor recall

Driver sun visor broke while driving. Will not stay in up or down position. Blocks my view. I have to look under it to see

I have a 2010 Corolla where driver side visor won't stay up also.

My 2007 Toyota Camry with less than 70,000 miles has a broken sun visor on the driver's side. Local dealership won't repair it unless I pay $250.

I had replaced the sun visor on the drivers side 2 years ago now the passenger side sun visor dropped down and will not stay up.

2011 Camry. I have a had THREE visors go bad (all with the same issue). First time dealer replaced the driver side. Second the passenger side went out. Now the driver side replacement just went out. UNACCEPTABLE!

Sun visor just fell off one day while I was sitting in the car. Went to Toyota and they told me it would be around $183.00 to fix it. I still have no visor

Both visors have now flopped down. Called Toyota my car 2009 camry and they say it's not part of the recall. Really well maybe it needs to be.

I have 2009 toyota venza and just today I found out that my driver side sunvisor not working and hang loose from the clips on where it should stays. Next thing I know that it does not turn or flips on side so now I have to replace with new one

My driver's and passengers sun visors won't stay up they fall blocking my vision. Which makes it dangerous to operate my car safely on the street and highway. I need help with this issue. I just recently reached my 20,089 miles of usuage. I obviously love my car. I need Toyota to issue a recall on these sun visors and replace them for free as loyal Toyoto consumers. We campaign for you and recruit new buyers to try your products. Please don't ignore us and show the future buyers that Toyota manufacturer care and help their past and future customer s. I have a 2009 Toyota Venza it has 60,000 miles. I bought in new in 2009 and the driver's side visor broke with warning. Yes, Toyota should do a recall on the 2009 Venza's visor.

I have a 2011 Venza and the driver side visor also failed. It has also lost the cloth part on the very top where the seam is. I have bumper to bumper extended warranty and they said they will not cover at the dealership. I am totally disappointed in Toyota!!

Passenger side broke about 2 months ago and drivers side is on its way! I 2008 Camry well taken care of!!!

2012 Venza driver's side visor broke during the first 100 miles of ownership. Toyota replaced. I now have 47,000 miles...both the driver's side and the passenger side visors are broken. Plus, the light goes on and won't go off. I have an extended warranty. I am getting ready to contact Toyota. If they won't fix, I will not buy another Toyota.

I have the problem on both visors. First i had one visor mess up on the right side and about 6 months later the left one went out!!!

2009 Venza hasn't worked right from the beginning. Should have taken it back but didn't. Now it just hangs loose in the down position. I need to use a clamp to stay up somewhat so I can see.

We purchased a New 2012 Toyota Venza. The driver side visor would make a loud click when it was put back up, Now 1 month later it is hanging and will stay up. Why wont they address this issue ?

I have replaced the passenger visor once and the driver visor twice on my 2009 Venza. The driver visor just broke AGAIN!!! It cost me about $150 every time to replace so I refuse to pay again. Right now a large rubber band is holding it up so I can see while driving. Of course, it is not covered by warranty. Toyota needs to fix this problem.

My father's venza is very bad, The visor almost got us in two accidents. I need this to be resolved. Toyota wants 200 to fix this. That is insane.

I have droopy sun visor. Everything works (I.e. Mirror, light, slide shade extension) except the clip portion and visor won't fold. My car is highlander hybrid 2008.

I own a 2011 Camry. This visor on the driver side got loose then fell off. Half a year later the passenger side's just fell off.

2009 Highlander drivers side visor wont stay up.

We have an '09 venza with certified and warranty. Only put 25,000 miles in 3 years and the driver side visor took a dump. I've also had to take it in several times for engine problems that were covered, but this is Toyota and it's supposed to last forever with no problems. My Civic has 215k miles and i haven't even flushed the radiator! Come on Toyota, pony up.

2010 vena drivers side visor kept dropping lower and lower. Dealer said won't fix. Dangerous to drive with it hanging so husband had to take off. Now I am blinded by the sunlight! Even with sunglasses! Come on Toyota!

2011 RAV4 drivers side visor will not stay in up position. I talked with the dealer warranty lady last week and she said Toyo is aware of the problem on the Rav and may at some point issue some sort of extended repair service like they have on the Camry and Highlander. She said to call her each week and she will check for me if it has been issued. Hoping it happens soon as my wife is not happy having to deal with this. We've driven Toyotas for 30+ yrs now and it's the first time something of this nature has happened in any of the 9 vehicles we've had

This should definitely be covered by Toyota in the firm of a recall. Almost caused me to have an accident.

toytoa says they had a recall on the sun visors but it expired in 2008 I brought the car way after that

My 2012 Venza driver visor will not go up. I took it to Toyota and they told only Camry and RAV4 are under warranty. I paid for the extended and no help. They tried calling Toyota headquarters in central time but of course they are closed.

My 2013 Toyota Venza visor is broken and the passenger visor is making a popping sound too I'm pretty sure it will break soon.

Driver's side visor is broken and will not stay up obstructing my line of vision for driving. This is a hazard and if they have recalled the same visor on on car they should cover whatever car that has that visor.

2013 67000 miles. This repair should be under warranty.

I have a 2009 Toyota Venza it has 70,000 miles. My visor needs replacement, it can't be fixed. I spoke with the dealer they told me it will cost $130 to order new one, without the labor. I have no problem with my Honda's, and they are older with more miles.

2009 camry- passenger side visor will not stay up. Car serviced at Toyota dealer from purchase. Dealer never brought situation upon regular maintenance or inspection. this visor should be replaced as a goodwill gesture and safety on part of Toyota. What does the Federal Government say about this issue?

Toyota Venza 2009 third sun visor replacement at almost $100.00 each. This is not fair.

2010 Toyota Venza defective, poorly designed, and poorly made sun visor is a safety hazard. It falls down in line of vision while driving obstructing the driver's view of the road. This will be our 3rd sun visor, completely unacceptable.

My Venza only has 54,000 miles on it (2010) sun visor on drivers side is dangerous. Come down while driving, blocking vision of the road ahead. I have replaced 2 of these, not fair, Toyota should stand behind their products better, the reason I bought a Toyota was because of the reputation of a quality vehicle.

2013 venza sun visor on the drivers side has been replaced 2x now in less than a year and I just had to replace the passenger side. 130 a piece at one dealership and 113 our local dealership seems like a lot for something that doesn't even last a year. its also a safety issue once it breaks cause you can't keep it up

2007 fj cruiser had both visors falling what is up with toyota visors ? I also have a 1991 yoda pickup the visors are fine still original.
