It has been 14 years of Non Implementation after the passing of RA 9173 Philippine Nursing Act of 2002. 14 Years of Nurses neglected right to compensation, 14 years of being abused and over-used by Philippine Hospitals in both Private and Public sector. The coalition is currently finalizing a formal briefing document to present to the Office of the President. We are also coordinating with members of the House committee on health to secure a formal hearing regarding the non-implementation of existing statutes. Expect a summary of these legislative communications once we receive official written acknowledgments.

The volume of support has reached a level that allows us to formally request a meeting with the Office of the President. We are currently finalizing the legal briefing document to accompany the petition signatures. Our next step is to coordinate with the nursing associations to ensure our representatives are prepared for the upcoming hearing.

I AM A NURSING GRADUATE FROM USC AND CURRENTLY WORKING A NON NURSING JOB ABROAD. STILL I SUPPORT AND SIGNED THIS PETITION CHANGE NEEDS TO RULE FOR US NURSES. HEAR OUR VOICE AND WILL HEAL YOUR WOUNDS
Hindi po ako nurse, pero alam ko ang hirap ng mga nurses dito sa Pilipinas. Dapat po i-implement ang batas na ito, para sa aking Ex-GF na balak mag abroad dhil mababa ang kita dito at para sa lahat ng nurses na pinagsasamantalahan ng mga hospitals dito!
For the Love of my Profession. I am taking this last step and hope for the best in my profession. Naniniwala ako na may hangganan ang pagtitiis at pang aapi sa mga kapwa ko nurses. It has been 14 years of perseverance, to serve the Nation with passion. It has been a long battle for each and everyone of us. Nurses healed the Nation for the last 14 years, and now we ask you His Excellency Pres.Benigno Aquino III, "HEAL the FILIPINO NURSES". We seek for fair and just compensation. We seek for our rights that has been neglected for more than a decade. Filipino Nurses deserves their rights and dignity as a health care provider of this nation. May God bless our fellow Nurses! As a member of the nursing profession,i appeal to the President to please give us what we rightfully deserve.it's been long overdue..
