Setting and explanation: Constructors are going to build a family fun center over the field/forest right in front of Park Trace, inside Trace Crossings, down the street from Hoover High, in front of the Regions Park Baseball Stadium, (I just listed several different locations to help you understand where they want to build!) Since the field is medium sized, the family fun center will require tearing down the only REAL forest outside of Park Trace.

The petition statement for this protest is that constructing over this land means withdrawing trees which produce oxygen and provide homes for animals, destroying the park where children and adults fly kites and constructing over dozens of animal's habitats under and above ground. Several different types of animals live where they are planning to construct, including rabbits, snakes, toads, insects, lizards, mice, voles, shrews, and moles, as well as other rodents and reptiles. They may not all seem like the best animals ever, but honestly would you rather have them with a home, or wandering around outside your door?? The animals can't speak, but we can speak for them. The beautiful forest where  paths and trails of adventure hide, can't speak either, but again, we can. Building this 'community fun center' would require tearing down the forest, therefore the animals would either die or run around homeless. The traffic from the Regions Park Baseball Stadium is a lot already, adding a new shopping center area would triple that traffic and noise! Please sign to support this cause and this petition will be sent to the administrator over the construction!! (Your e-mail will not be shared or public) Thank you VERY much!! :)

Ridiculous. Nobody asked for another fun center. Keep the trees where they are.

We have enough concrete in this town already. Leave the woods alone! My kids actually play out there and love seeing the rabbits. Stop destroying everything green.
