The Cranborn u-turn is illogical and dangerous. Reopening the Widdingtin entrance would help flow. It is irresponsible to add more houses to this mess without a traffic study. Ignoring the problem is not good governance.

I do not support this rezoning effort. Traffic on this portion of High House road is already very heavy. Adding additional homes is only going to make the problem worse

The u turn to get to Widdington entrance of Wellesley is terrible. Maybe open that up so less cars are dependent on making a u turn to go home.

Sadly, the town should have conducted a traffic study when the earlier rezoning took place. The traffic along this road is dangerous- especially all of the u turns we have to navigate getting in and out of our neighborhoods. As a 23 year resident of Wellsley, I ask the town to do the right thing and study the safety impact of this development.

I have lived just off High House since 2002. Development in the area has pushed the traffic density to where it road is risky to enter going either direction. This study is needed and requires reasonable action upon before the first house is completed.

I support a traffic study to be done at the town's expense. I recently had a near wreck at High House and Jenks Carpenter with an individual attempting to make a left onto High House from Jenks Carpenter. The recent development along Collins road in that area is also contributing to the problem.

I agree at a minimum a traffic study is needed. The increase in traffic due to 540, the change to The Wellsley neighborhood to have to make a ridiculous and dangerous u turn, the dangerous left into and out of Jenks Carpenter and now three new neighborhoods in a very small space on top of that. Our next move may be out of Cary.

I agree a traffic study should be conducted as a result of the cumulative surrounding developments to analyze particularly the safety associated with such developments. Intersections are already dangerous.

A traffic study is need and adding this many homes is a bad idea.

Please reconsider this rezoning. The additional traffic will place a burden on the already over traffic area.

I am not convinced it is in the interest of Cary to develop every last square inch of land in the town. In fact, it makes life much more difficult to have even higher population density: increased traffic, increased pollution, less trees and more hot sun! When can we say no to more development? How about now !?!? I don't want this new site next to my home. I live on Cranborne Lane in the Wellsley subdivision.
