A petition to the City of Bethel AK City Council to reduce the speed limit in all Bethel neighborhoods to 15 mph. This will provide more safety to pedestrians, bicyclists and kids playing out. It will further reduce dust that harms our health, especially the health of our elders and children. City Council will cause new 15 mph speed limit signs to be posted in all neighborhoods: at the highway and within each neighborhood.

The dust is crazy. Just driving through kicks up so much dirt it gets hard to breathe. 15mph is way better for everyone.
Too many cars speeding thru our streets here. It is not safe for the kids to even play outside near their own homes. Please slow them down.

DO IT. People go way too fast near the school and my house. Nobody needs to be flying down these roads.
