Change or remove Kyle Field's planned 12 Empty Seat Memorial

Empty seats do not make me think of "The Spirit of Aggieland."

As a member of the class of '99 and 08, I see no need for the 12 empty seats. Put the 12th man students in them.

Make them upgrade seats for the most redass aggies each week.

The 12th man is not represented by 12 empty seats. I understand why it could have been considered at least a DECENT idea. But it really isn't. Don't make us look stupid please, you've looked incredibly intelligent so far thanks to our SEC move. Don't ruin it.

1) Doesn't make sense to use seats to honor people that stand. 2) Aggies don't exploit the deaths of other Aggies

How does this make the stadium louder?... Do you know the story of the original Twelfth Man? It definitely wasn't 12 students who camped out all night, got great seats, and then never went to the game.

Please, no manufactured PR-based memorials.

As Aggies sometimes we blur the lines between great traditions and trying too hard. Please rethink this.

I like Charles Lampe's suggestion about having a lottery each game to fill the 12 empty seats. Maybe with potential future Aggies?

We have enough memorials on campus. Have a lottery each game and pick 12 students to stand at each seat. Our team needs these 12 students yelling for them.

As a former student I strongly dislike the idea. We should be increasing the number of seats available to the true 12th Man - the student body

It's not 12 people, guys...it's 1 or it's 1000s.

This is not the best way to represent those 12 students or our university.

This is a bad idea and really seems like we are "trying too hard". Things like this should be done with the support of the students and former students.
