Give true honor to the 12th Man, and fill the Twelve Man Seats! Empty seats honor 2 Percenters, NOT the 12th Man!

We have a 12th Man Statue (E King Gil), we apparently are putting up a an even LARGER version of it, AND on top of all of that we are going to have another dedicated to the 12th man ("saw em off statue"). There is no need for yet another "12th man" representation. Tell me why we have to embarrass ourselves on national TV with 12 empty seats? There is only ONE 12th man. It is a spiritual representation, encapsulated in the massive student body that stands with the team. We don't need some ridiculous "memorial" of empty seats. If it is fact a memorial... make it that way. The 12th man isn't gone. It will never be gone. If this is going to be a memorial, make it about the 12 we lost in the bonfire collapse. Otherwise the 12 empty seats represent nothing but 12 empty seats that could be FILLED with MEMBERS of the 12th man. Fix this. Thanks and Gig Em.

Would have preferred it to be for those we lost at Bonfire. Since this is not the case, and is instead some obfuscated reference to the 12th Man, I disagree with this tribute.

The idea is awful. Having empty seats is the opposite of what the 12th Man actually stands for. Get rid of it please.

The 12th man is a symbol of loyalty and commitment to our school and our team. Empty seats will do nothing but weaken that.

12 empty seats don't represent the 12th Man in any way, shape, or form.

Empty seats in a sporting event never good, always bad.

One empty seat would better symbolize the Tradition of the 12TH Man. This just smacks of marketing gone wrong.

The idea may be well intended but does not reflect any coherent understanding of the 12th Man. In fact, I find it to be bordering on a disgusting marketing/branding gimmick.

This idea is well intentioned but seriously off the mark as well as extrmeley confusing in its purpose. This will ultimately reflect poorly on Texas A&M. I have not talked to a single Aggie that thinks this is a remotely a good idea.

Worst idea since the forced resignation of Pres. Loftin. The 12th Man (student section) is better than any gimmicky "memorial".
