The proposed new house would require 3 design review actions, 3 conditional use permits, and 3 variances because the house is simply massive! What? This is a beautiful 1930's home that was renovated in 2013 not dilapidated not unkept. These are the type of homes San Marino is made up of. If we let all these be pulled down why on earth would we live here? These are the homes that make San Marino unique! These are the homes we should strive to save! A huge modern home can be built "anywhere". If you are happy to live "anywhere" why buy here?

We need to unite and require the city to preserve this historic home and stop its demolition so that it can be protected and listed in the National Register of Historic Places, as a California Landmark, a California Point of Historical Interest, and as a Historic Resource, as defined in CEQA.
