Wounded Knee, My Lai, Fallujah..the dishonor continues unabated...It sickens me to the bone that the scum who were given those medals were sneaking, skulking cowards along with senators like John McCain who did everything in his power to obstruct Indin' requests to rescind those unearned CMHs! I demand that the Congressional Medals of (DIS)Honor be rescinded and the savage recipients of those medals be struck from the CMH Roll and placed on a Roll Of Dishonor

I have always hated the idea that those men of the U.S. military were honored for committing a cowardice act on humanity. Our country should be about honor and respect, and yet this concept is continually trampled by men whose actions are no better than Adolf Hitlers. Who by the way glorified his idea of killing because of how we Americans handled the Indigenous problem!

This is like stamping cold-blooded murderers with a tag symbolizing you did good. What kind of nonsense is this. Evil and genocide will never end.

No way they should have got medals for murder. I wonder if they still think that we're not quite human.

Wounded Knee was not a battle against hostile forces. It was the murder of men, women, and children by the US Army. It was a revenge attack by the US 7th Calvary against the Lakota people. The Lakota were a free people in their own lands. The United States was the aggressor against Native people. This act is part of Americas Dark history along with slavery. There was no honor that deserves a metal for any of the US Army that day. It was a cowardly and shameful act. It will always stand as a black eye for the United States.

Honoring them will be like honoring slave owners. Why honor men who killed innocence women, children and the elderly! They knew what they were doing, the young warriors were away, so they knew when to strike!

Do an honor to those brutally murdered and their descendents by rescinding the metals of (dis)honor awarded to a bunch of cowards. Give *something* back to the People. It will cost you nothing and those who received the metals of (dis)honor won't mind a bit.

Atrocities, genocide, stolen land and battered souls, evil demons, hell= White People, they are the savages who will never be forgiven by The Lord above, only to burn in hell. This wrong should be rightly placed. America belongs to Natives and always will, for their suffering, this pledge should be proudly reinstated to them. bless those souls, may their spirits soar in the heavens like the eagles and angels. amen. Love Pravin Ansell. Heartbreaking.
