This doesn't make any sense. u mean to tell me only people who can afford to pay $50,000 plus for a vehicle can own one? what about the people who are struggling to pay other bills and vat and they need a quick $2,000 car to help them get around , they cant now because of that???????? ridiculous

Geee. This ridiculous. So now; the cars that people would be importing (Eg: Nissan GT-R32, Toyota Supra MK4, Honda NSX-R, etc...) are no longer legal to be imported..? Does this say that the local dealers gon sell em or not.? This ain't making any sense right now. All this will cause is illegally import companies (more crime)...Wow. PLP needa come out the house, especially Perry. R.I.P to all the JDM's and Domestic cars...I'm 15 and this right here is somethign I'm not going to get over; to know that I won't be able to import my dream car (1998 Toyota Supra MK4 RZ).....But anyways Govt. I ain't making no threats but y'all better step up y'all Police Force and Defense Force.

I strongly disagree with this ban especially since VAT has come in effect. Not everyone can afford such hefty payments required for up to date vehicles.

Really and truly this whole thing dose not add up, where is the hard core facts proving that this is what its doing to are environment and how its a hazardous risk to citizens of The Bahamas. Just to add, some of the best cars are from that era. So if there is no hard binding facts showing the danger and hazard of importing a 10year old vehicle vs a 5year old one, then we the people demand that you The Government DO NOT!! go through with this ban.

I dont see where this ban makes any sense I simply believe that in some way shape or form some MP's received financial backing from individuals who are in charge of the bringing in and selling of cars(wholesale) and now those said individuals are losing somewhat because no ones buying cars from them because everyone is bringing in their own (BECAUSE ITS MORE AFFORDABLE) but its still a theory dont mind me

This ban has yet to be justified; its mediocre anyway.
