We petition the Mesa View HOA to change the ARC committee's response time from 45 days to 10 days. In Article 2 of the ARC guidelines it states that a response for exterior modifications can take up to 45 days. We believe this is an unacceptable timeframe to have our community wait for approval.
This delay impacts our community in many ways such as: repair after a natural disaster (hail storms), loss of availability of contractors and tradesmen, scheduling of personal and business travel, all of which could increase the final pricing for projects.

ive been talking to a bunch of neighbors who have lost out on good contractors because the board takes forever to approve simple stuff. its honestly wild that we have to wait over a month just to get basic home repairs started.

seeing this kind of momentum is wild because it shows how many of us are dealing with the exact same headache. its clear the board needs to listen to how much these delays are costing everyone.

10 days is plenty. 45 is just lazy management and it holds up all our home repairs.
The time it takes currently is problematic especially if ARC askes for more info. 45 days could easily tune in to 100+ all while having samples painted on the house which can be an eye sore as well inflicted by ARC delays

Most estimates we have received are only valid for a 30 day window.

Ridiculous wait times for simple stuff like painting. My contractor already moved on to another job cuz they wouldnt get back to me in time.
