1080 is unnecessary and indiscriminate and cruel. Also not efficient in the proposed job at hand. Land trapping is 100% effective and efficient

Unearranted and unsustainable pest control regime. This poison is not just a vertebrate poison, it will poison the invertebrate population - food source for kiwi for example. It is not just a mammalian poison - 1080 is highly acutely toxic to birds. This is ecocide and supported by government propaganda.
